Will And Kate: One Year On

This Sunday, Will and Kate will celebrate one year of marriage. We can’t believe how quickly it’s gone!

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge started their love story at university and allegedly first became romantic whilst sharing university accommodation during their second year at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. A recent survey by student accommodation finding service www.accommodationforstudents.com revealed that 54% of graduates had a similar ‘romantic encounter’ with a housemate.

Rumours of a relationship began to fly in 2003 when Kate attended Will’s 21st birthday party at Windsor Castle. However, the couple are papped while on holiday to Switzerland after their graduation and with the couple gazing longingly at each other, it seemed that the Will and Kate relationship rumours were true.

5 years later, their engagement was made public, with Kate showing off the engagement ring that once belonged to William’s mother, Princess Diana.

The couple wed on April 29th 2011 in a grand ceremony in London.
