University Of Kent Editor’s Letter

Hello everyone, and welcome to the University of Kent’s MyUni page!

This page will act as the go-to place for all students at the University’s main Canterbury Campus. If you want to know what everyone’s wearing – be it to lectures or to themed nights at Venue – the plays appearing at the campus’ Gulbenkian theatre or the city centre Marlowe theatre, or even if you’re simply after a quick dinner for you and your flatmates on a budget, this is the place to be!

The University of Kent was founded in 1965, and has recently become part of the Santander group of European Universities, encouraging social and economic development. The Canterbury Campus is home to over 4000 students, with smaller campuses situated in Medway and Tonbridge. Every single one of these students has their own opinion which they are free to express on this page.

Our objective is to provide articles which students want to read, and the easiest way of doing this is by having students write the articles. This page is dedicated not only to events on campus, but also in the nearby city centre.

It’s incredibly important that every student enjoys their university experience as much as possible, and this page will allow students to be kept up to date with goings-on at our lovely campus. So come one, come all, and let’s enjoy everything that the University of Kent has to offer! I really hope you enjoy the page. If you’re interested in joining the team, please feel free to email me.
