Tulisa Sexiest Woman In The World, Really? YES.

When Tulisa Contostavlos was voted FHM’s sexiest woman in the world this year, some people may have had one of the following reactions: ARE FHM MAD?, or Sorry, WHO?

N-Dubz star Tulisa was more than an unlikely candidate for possibly one of the best compliments (and shallowest) titles that FHM could offer, however she has had a rollercoaster year, what with being taken under the wing of music mogul Simon Cowell, featuring as a popular judge on the X-factor, and let’s not forget her role in her very own sex tape that got leaked earlier this year (i can’t help but think it was the latter that propelled her onto the pages of FHM).

 

The ‘Young’ singer stormed her way onto the charts this year, not only surprising people around the world, but probably last year’s winner Rosie-Huntington Whiteley, who normally would have been tough competition to beat, had their not been the leaked tape of Tulisa’s X- rated ‘talents’ outside of X-factor.

Not only would people not necessarily vote her as the sexiest woman in the world (although she is gorgeous) but what’s more shocking is that not only did she storm to the top of this year’s list, but she didn’t even feature in last year’s list AT ALL.

Suspected candidates for the title would have been last year’s winner Whiteley, England’s ‘sweeetheart’ Cheryl, and possibly popstar Rihanna – all of whom fell to the way side behind Tulisa. Cheryl and Rihanna both are undeniably much bigger and more loved celebrities than Tulissa (at the moment) and so you would expect them, as usual, to take the spotlight. Even Katy Perry who is always in the media for her quirky outfits, entertaining videos and flawless appearance could only claim sixth place, behind Cheryl (2nd) and Rihanna (3rd) with FHM regular Megan Fox falling to seventh.

Another surprise face on the list is Cher Lloyd, who is just one of the many FHM sexy women representing England – TV presenter Holly Willoughbooby features at 24 whilst Kelly Brooke claims 20, Whiteley drops to 18, Jessie J sits pretty at 16 and sweetheart Pixie Lott climbs to 12. Surprisingly our English Rose Kate Middleton does not feature, but her sister, who gained fame due to her derrière is ahead of Pixie at 11. All of the usual American suspects are on the list somewhere, with Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Scarlett Johansen, Alba, Scherzinger and Kim K, however they are in what seems an unlikely order. However, who cares; us English should celebrate for claiming consecutive victories at the top of the table. See here  for the full list.

With these recent pictures the star tweeted of herself on holiday, i’m definitely seeing why she claimed the title, as she flaunts an undeniable enviable figure, svelte and toned, whilst she remains curvy with a nice chest – i’m definitely jealous! With all the stick thin starving celebrities that grace the front of our magazines, photo-shopped to the point that should look ridiculous but actually what we regard as realistic, it is refreshing to see the London beauty casually made up, hair slicked back with what looks like a sun kissed tan. I can’t help but think that Rihanna, Cheryl and Katy have been in the spotlight for several years now generally for how they look, and yes they are sexy, but there is something about the natural girl-next-door look that Tulisa rocks that seems down-to-earth, likeable and still sexy. Tulisa, you deserve it!
