By: Evie Chrysostomou

Are you tired of lounging around at home this summer? Do you have a few hours to spare?

Teenage Cancer Trust are currently looking for some lovely volunteers this summer to help out in their August Collection Weekend at all Homebase Stores across the UK! They will be holding bucket collections at Homebase stores over the Bank Holiday Weekend of 25/26/27 August 2012. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in and it is all for a worthy cause!

How to get involved?

Just give a few hours of your time on Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th or Monday 27th August and go down to your local Homebase store. Teenage Cancer Trust will supply you with all the promotional materials you will need and the collection buckets will be waiting for you at the store. All you have to do is sign up, turn up, have fun bucket collecting, and then go about your weekend. Easy! Bring your friends and family along too, as up to three volunteers can collect at any one time and have fun seeing how much you can collect together!

Contact Caroline on 0207 612 0721 or email her on c.brocklehurst@teenagecancertrust.org for more information.

You will need to:

Tell them the name of your preferred Homebase store.

Tell them the date and times you want to volunteer.

Caroline will then confirm the details and you are all set!

If you haven’t already jumped at the chance to take part in this amazing opportunity, another incentive is that once you have volunteered you can sign up for a music rewards through the Orange Rockcorps Collective. Click here to join!
