Summer Nail Trends

Let me introduce you guys to some nail trends I’ve come across recently and which totally caught my eye.
Everyone seems to love pastel colours, metallics and glitter on their nails these days. Especially cute nude and mint tones simply look good on people who get a nice tan during summer. This doesn’t include me unfortunately.
A simple colour can be made way more interesting with the help of some glittery polish. As I browsed through the Topshop and American Apparel online shops recently, I discovered thousands of them.
When applied, it can look as awesome as this:
I also found two ways to make your nails look extra special:
1)

If you want to find out how to do this with your own nails, just click here to read really good and easy instructions written by Liz, a girl who tried the same.
2) This one is certainly my favourite nail art I’ve seen for a while.
All you have to do is to apply a base coat in your favoured colour first. The second step consists of choosing a splatter colour. Pour a small amount of this out onto a piece of paper, take a straw and dip it into the paint. Hold the straw an inch or two away from your nails and then blow out onto them. It might be good to put tape around your nails so that the polish doesn’t go all over your fingers.
So good luck, mix and match and get experimental
