Another day, another awards ceremony! The latest awards show of the season was yesterday’s 2012 Elle Style Awards which took place at the Savoy Hotel in London, hosted by Brit style icon Alexa Chung.

In association with high street brand Next, winners of the 15th Elle Style Awards were revealed by a series of celebrity guests. All awards were nominated by Elle readers to find out which stars have impressed us most with their style.

Winners included:

Style Icon: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Next Future Icon: Jessica Chastain

British Designer of the Year: Jonathan Saunders

International Designer of the Year: Sarah Burton

Contemporary Brand of the Year : Acne

Best Model: Isabelli Fontana

Best Actress: Michelle Williams

Best TV Show: Downton Abbey

Best Music Act: Florence Welsh

As expected the red carpet was packed with well-groomed celebrities and fashionistas, all hoping to make the best dressed lists. Who do you think rocked the Elle red carpet? Who should have stayed home?
