Welcome to Sheffield Hallam’s MyUni page! Need some top tips for studying? Want to know the best bars and clubs in the area? Or just fancy catching up on some celebrity gossip? All of this and more can be found here, along with news and events from right here in Sheffield!

Rated one of the safest cities in the UK, Sheffield boasts a dense student population and with the main university building being one of the first thing you see as you leave the train station, it’s hard not to see it as a student-based city. Sheffield Hallam is one of the two universities here in the cosy city of Sheffield, and that can have its advantages. The mock-rivalry between Hallam and the University of Sheffield provides a lot of fun during nights out and varsity sporting events. The night life is also incredibly easy to access, with the infamous West Street housing a number of bars and clubs – all of which contribute towards the many bar crawls that take place throughout the year.

With the beautiful city campus buildings scattered all over the city, it’s understandable that some of the top courses here are architecture, planning and housing studies and geography. The university is spread over two campuses – city and collegiate – which help to maintain the balance between academic and vocational courses.

Our page aims to present the many students of Sheffield Hallam with various topics, ranging from local news to student-savvy recipes to film and music reviews. Anything you want to see, we’ll get on it right away! And hey, if you’re that desperate to see something on the page, why not come and write it yourself? We’re always looking for people to contribute and not to mention it’ll look great on your CV, no matter what sort of course you’re doing!
