British Fashion Council Reveal SS13 NEWGEN Sponsorship Winners

Thirteen of London’s emerging fashion designers have been selected to receive the prestigious British Fashion Council NEWGEN sponsership scheme.

Sponsored by Topshop, the BFC NEWGEN sponsorship offers young, talented designers the career-making opportunity to show at London Fashion Week in the NEWGEN exhibition space at Somerset House. NEWGEN also offers financial support to help designers with show costs and provides business and mentoring support through partnerships with Shoosmiths, Baker Tilley and Lloyds TSB.

The SS13 recipients receiving the sponsorship are:

Catwalk sponsorship: Michael van der Ham; J.W. Anderson; Simone Rocha
Presentation sponsorship: Christopher Raeburn; J.JS Lee; Lucas Nascimento; Marques Almeida; Nasir Mazhar; Sister by Sibling
Exhibition sponsorship: Palmer//Harding; Huishan Zhang; Lim Cooper; Sophia Webster

NEWGEN was established in 1993 and now 10 years on, is recognised across the world as a leading fashion talent identification scheme.
